It has been reported yesterday that Phil Harrison is no longer serving as the President of Atari, a role he has only held since 3 March 2008. The former Executive Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is no longer filling the role of Directeur Général Délégué for Infogrames/Atari.
During Atari's annual fiscal report, they stated:
"Because of a shift of business operations to the US, Phil Harrison will move from the role of President to that of non-executive Director of the Group. As all Board members, he will continue to assist, support and guide the Company's strategy."
Sounds like a demotion to us...
