Mythic boss Mark Jacobs has refused to comment on rumours of Mythic having to lay off staff following EA's staff cuts but has more or less confirmed it in a post at the source stating:
Our CEO JR has publicly stated the need to cut costs across all of EA. This statement is old news and applies all throughout EA.EA has also declined to comment on the lay off rumours regarding Mythic, with Joystiq claiming 21 customer service staff have now gone.
As part of EA, all studios are expected to do their fair share to meet the expectations of our CEO.
