PlayStation boss Kaz Hirai has again stated Sony's PS3 is primarily a games machine. Something we would all assume but couldn't quite understand how this time round what with the severe games shortage and high price Blu-ray technology the console has suffered:

“The thing that I did when I took over last year was to boast the appeal of games themselves."
“The main premise of the PS3 is video games. That’s the absolutely most important thing that we cannot lose sight of.”

It's sup-par for games right now... it's getting better but from launch till recently it's been terrible.
Most of the games that came out multi-format sucked on PS3 compared to Xbox 360 with daft frame rate issues and shit
The future's bright, the future's Sony
Sony definitely has a future I would say, but only because they have an untapped hardware behemoth lol
Yeah we'll see some shit from the PS3 down the line, someday. Heavy Rain looks awesome!
I think if i was going to take the plunge into "next-gen" gaming all over again now instead of a year or so ago I would pick the PS3 over the 360 because the future just looks so much brighter for the PS3 and with all the 360 hardware problems i.e.noise, failure, no blue ray etc the appeal of the 360 for me is lower than ever.
That's funny, because they marketed it like some super media computer machine. Games? Huh? Oh, it plays games? If it weren't for Little Big Planet, I'd worry.
