Midway Releases Own Licenses

Midway are in a bit of a financial struggle at the moment and in a recently issued a statement said they would be severing ties with their own licenses:

"Midway Games today announced it has come to mutually beneficial terms with licensing partners resulting in the cancellation of future versions of related game properties and associated development expenditures."

What that means is, we'll probably not see sequels for games such as Stranglehold and NBA Ballers along with possible cancellation of the Vin Diesel game "The Wheelman" to focus their attention and resources on key IPs such as Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe, TNA impact and This Is Vegas.
