PS3 Eternal Sonata Stays In Japan

If you were looking forward to the PS3 port of Eternal Sonata to hit the West, then prepared to be disapointed. Chances are, this game stays in Japan.

Namco-Bandai has said that as far as they know, the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata stays in Japan.

“I can’t speak for any other territories, but I believe Eternal Sonata is only announced for the PS3 in Japan right now,”

“We have no plans to release the game on the PS3 in the US at this moment.”

The hard part of porting should be moving the game from one console to another. Now that they did that, it's strange to think that they won't at least port the English translations already finished from the 360 version of the game onto the PS3 one. I guess that's just how the cookie crumbles (lame proverb I know).
