Wii Guitar Hero 3 Discs Coming February

Initial reports that the Wii version of Guitar Hero 3 supported only mono sound proved true and prompted Activision to announce that they would be offering replacement discs for Wii owners of Guitar Hero 3.

Activision put up a preregistration site and recently emailed everyone who had preregistered to tell them that the discs were coming soon. According to Activision,
"The game has been approved by Nintendo and is currently in manufacturing...We expect to have the replacement discs available in February."
This news comes on the tail of the announcement that Guitar Hero 3 just set a record for the most copies of a game sold in one year. In just three months it has already moved 14 million copies in North America, making more than $1 billion in revenue. In addition to the 14 million copies of the game, Activision has also sold 5 million downloadable songs since release.
