Rockstar Questions High Court Ruling

It's not on the shelves of UK game stores, but if the High Court gets its way, it could be shelved. Period. The High Court ruled on Friday that the word 'harm' in the game is misinterpreted and thus breaks the law, referring the game back to the BBFC to reconsider its 18 certificate.

Rockstar responded with a blunt statement citing that because the game has been released and well received in the United States, there is simply no reason for it not to be released in the UK.

Rockstar's statement reads:
"We believe the VAC decision was correct and do not understand the court's decision to expend further public resources to censor a game that contains content well within the bounds established by the BBFC's 18-plus ratings certification."
The seven VAC members will reconvene immediately for a decision. DailyGameNews will bring you the verdict first!
