Highlander Coming To XBOX And PS3

Owen MacLeod has traversed time and space as the immortal Scottish Highlander for over 2000 years, but now he's set to traverse platforming too with the Highlander franchise coming to XBox 360, PS3 and Games for Windows.

The story follows the adage that 'There can only ever be one immortal soul', which sets Owen up for fights a plenty with others who want the power. Defeating the opponent means Owen can absorb their powers and soul ala Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat. Unlike Shang Tsung however, Owen is able to pull off a range of moves such as skewering himself to kill those behind him and suffer massive electrical trauma, though whether he plays golf in the rain is open to debate.

Developed by Eidos of Tomb Raider fame, the game is set in a futuristic New York reminiscent of Blade Runner or The Fifth Element. Futuristic platforming joy from the platforming masters.
